On the 26th of June 2013, during an Oracle Hyperion morning of exchanges, Shortways hosted a workshop with Sodexo.
A closer look at the Sodexo experience of the Shortways solution for HFM: user autonomy, interactivity & efficient communication.
A dozen people participated in the workshop with very interesting exchanges.
During this event, Sodexo has shared their experience about the deployment of the Shortcuts virtual assistant within their Consolidation department. In total, 200 users are involved in eighty countries..
The Sodexo team insisted on the necessity of involving users in the deployment of Shortcuts (by explaining the value that the Shortcuts virtual assistant brings) and the positive change in the user support organization, led by the implementation of the solution.
Sodexo measured the ROI for their user support:
a decrease of 11.8% in assistance requests relating to Controls, Procedures and Conversion.
Sodexo has highlighted five essential points benefits from deploying Shortcuts in their financial consolidation department:
– Support of quick and efficient communication
– Decrease in the number of emails sent and received by users
– Gain in autonomy and data reliability
– Reduction in the number of questions, which were easily answered without asking to the business supportdesk
And a point of attention :
– Necessity of explaining users the efficiency that they’ll get from the solution
«You have just saved me half a day’s work searching in the accounts file!» Analyst for South America
«It’s great to know the blocking controls in the closing phase, without having to access the structure file» Consolideur financier junior
We thank Sodexo for their participation in the workshop, as well as Oracle and the french Oracle Users Group, AUFO, for inviting us to participate in the Oracle Hyperion Morning. Special thanks to Jacqueline Vidales Manrique and Jorge Rodriguez Ugalde.
