Created in February 2011, software vendor Shortways participated in the start-up acceleration program Idenergie (Laval Mayenne Technopole).
Shortways is an IT training solution: a digital assistant directly embedded into business applications (ERP, SIRH, CRM…). It allows users to train themselves and to be guided step by step, directly in their business application.
The customers of Shortways digitize IT training and divide by 10 the number of calls to the helpdesk.
Shortways celebrates its 7th birthday, marked by beautiful projects, such as the deployment of Shortways on the ERP of a French telecommunication operator (more than 10,000 users), or the support of more than 15 000 employees of an international market-study company on the new HRIS system.
These are new customers to be added to already acquired references: Total, Sodexo, LafargeHolcim, …
Shortways confirms its foothold in the “Digital Adoption Platform” market. This market is growing fast: Shortways’ main competitor just raised over 70 million dollars.
Shortways is positioned as the virtual assistant for employees of large companies which are facing the digital transformation. In particular, the migration to the Cloud of back-office applications (ERP, SIRH) is a great growth opportunity for the 5-10 years to come. Millions of employees are going to change their work habits: jobs that are 100% digital, more highly automated tasks, but also more complex processes that require more reliable data input to serve Finance or HR decision-makers.
